Our client, a leading workplace experience and facility management company, seeks to appoint a Senior Account Director to oversee one of their largest and most prestigious global accounts. This account represents the largest commercial estate within central Government, encompassing over 800 sites across the UK, servicing approximately 20 million customers and 90,000 employees.
This strategic and customer-facing role requires a partnership-driven operating model.
The successful candidate will lead the development of an exceptional operational team, taking ownership of challenges and driving swift, effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure Key Account Managers understand and execute their customer-related duties, including people, financial management, and budgetary control.
- Maintain a strategic customer focus by optimizing customer information visibility through the CRM system.
- Guide Key Account Managers in transforming business insights into tailored propositions across diverse locations.
- Drive stakeholder management, aligning customer and internal stakeholders with the account development plan.
- Effectively communicate the customer promise to all relevant functions, ensuring appropriate recruitment, development, and succession planning.
- Lead new business initiatives in collaboration with the commercial team.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will:
- Possess extensive experience in leading teams and managing service-industry and supplier relationships.
- Demonstrate an aptitude for navigating large organizations with complex stakeholder ecosystems and balancing varied expectations.
- Have a background in customer relationships, sales, or consultancy sales, as well as expertise in budgeting, financial management, reporting, and performance management.
- Show proven skills in SLA management and KPI reporting, ensuring service delivery excellence and monitored performance.
