Kate joins the Grichan Whitestone Partnership (GWP) with a wealth of knowledge and experience in systems and process improvement, social media content and general business support understanding.

Kate describes herself as being a collaborator, whilst also having the ability to work alone and multitask across diverse needs of a team and the company. She definitely has a ‘let’s get things done’ attitude to the tasks thrown her way.

Although Kate has only been in the Talent Acquisition world for the past 2 years, she has gained knowledge and insight into this ever-evolving industry with its challenges, and successes. Understanding the processes and how GWP works as a bespoke Boutique Executive Search firm allows her to support the wider team and help to improve how the team works, which she believes will lead to better service for our clients and candidates.

Kate has a background in a variety of industries including Event Management, (ask her about her experience dealing with live snakes). The charity sector, where she learnt the generosity of people can be humbling, and the Interior Design industry. Here she learnt all about the importance of lighting and a good rug. She believes that within different industries having varied priorities, there is much to be learnt from the importance of doing admin properly, double checking the details, and keeping the communication flowing. When all these areas are working well, then it helps the business to run smoother, and good administration done well helps others to do their jobs well too.

“I am excited to be part of the team here at Grichan Whitestone Partnership and look forward to bringing my skills and experience to this growing company as it continues on its growth trajectory in 2024 and beyond. Everyone has been welcoming and supportive and I feel like part of the furniture already.”

When Kate is not busy keeping everyone in line, then she is busy with her family life, HIIT workouts, visiting the Lake District and obsessing over the Traitors.

Kate is motivated by getting it right, learning as she grows and lots and lots of coffee.
